Partnering with Local 20/20
for Community Resilience
United Earth Networks is collaborating with Local 20/20, a grassroots organization in East Jefferson County, to launch new lifelong learning programs at Fort Worden. These initiatives will strengthen our "Act Locally" presence in the community, focusing on climate change, sustainability, and local resilience.
Local 20/20 is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to fostering community interconnectedness, sustainability, and adaptability in the face of climate and economic challenges. Their work addresses key local issues, including income disparities, access to stable housing, and affordable transportation. Through various action groups, they implement practical solutions to build a more equitable and sustainable future.
Together, UEN and Local 20/20 are creating opportunities for education, collaboration, and action—helping Port Townsend serve as a model for local solutions with global impact.
United Earth Networks is a proud sponsor of The Connectivity Summit, now in its fourth year, as it comes to Fort Worden for the first time. The event was created as a way to bring the public together, and be reminded of the importance of community! Activities include community discussions and presentations by local organizations. UEN is sponsoring media capture and production at the Summit.

Therefore, I would like to invite you to join our community whether this is through studying or researching with us, or simply supporting us with your gifts, with the overall goal of preventing violent conflicts and building just and peaceful societies globally.

The challenges we face today—climate change, social justice, and global cooperation—demand bold action, visionary collaboration, and transformative experiences.
At United Earth Networks, we believe that large-scale events have the power to unite people, bridge cultures, and ignite meaningful change.
For decades, UEN has been at the forefront of global event production, media, and strategic consulting, shaping world-changing experiences that resonate far beyond the stage. From the first-ever live people-to-people satellite "Space-Bridge" between the U.S. and the former Soviet Union to the historic Live Aid concert and the White House Conference on Global Climate Change, our work has helped connect nations, amplify urgent messages, and create lasting impact.
