Fort Worden — A Home Base for Convergence
UEN convenes from Fort Worden, on the Salish Sea in Port Townsend, WA — a former military post reborn as an arts, education, and gathering campus. It is one of the few places in North America where you can host hundreds of people, lodge them on-site, walk them to a beach between sessions, and broadcast the whole thing to the world from purpose-built studios — all without leaving the property.
Most organizations have to rent a place like Fort Worden for an event of consequence. UEN works from one.

We build the bridges, host the introductions, and steward the relationships that turn a thousand good actors into one global movement leaning the same direction.
Convergences
Where conferences gather people to hear, convergences gather people to do — to pool what they know and what they have into what we all need. UEN convenes convergences around the gaps that matter most: food, water, energy, shelter, climate, justice, and the conditions for life itself.
