The United Earth Networks (UEN) MetaCenter is a media, meeting and life-long learning center, where leaders, communities and storytellers meet to build a world that works for everyone. UEN is located at Fort Worden Historic State Park, in Port Townsend Washington. Community groups, companies, governments and global networks can use it to meet, learn and share solutions with the world.
It’s built together with the PEAC Institute and Hubcast Media, and connected interactively to studio hubs from New York to Africa and other regions around the globe. The MetaCenter turns good conversations into shared stories and collective action.
What happens here
• Convene: Leadership gatherings, cross-sector dialogues and international online meetings.
• Create: Professional studio, editing suites and podcast booths for films, broadcasts and live events.
• Learn: Classroom lab and trainings, including youth citizen journalism through the CoNGO Institute Global Studio Fellowship.
• Share: Distribution through a global network of multilingual channels focused on the Sustainable Development Goals and planetary well-being, “Powered by Hubcast.”
Why it matters
We all need to collaborate on the world’s biggest challenges across borders, sectors and generations, so the people solving them will have to work across those lines too. The MetaCenter gives multi-generational leaders from business, government and civil society a neutral, inspiring place to:
• Build trusted partnerships across sectors
• Show real progress on sustainability and community goals
• Reach global audiences with credible, solutions-focused stories
• Invest in the next generation of leaders and storytellers
Our living network
Picture a forest. Underground, a mycelial network links everything: Hubcast provides the technical backbone, PEAC guides governance and UEN powers global events. Above ground, Trees of Impact grow for Peace, Environment, Consciousness, Earth Repair and Governance. Every leaf is a partner organization or initiative. The MetaCenter is where those roots and branches meet.
