United Earth Networks is collaborating with groups around the world to help convert the growing appetite for peace into measurable, scalable impact.
The Ask:
Funding of 1.5M to launch an online cohort-based program that combines an elite 10-week online peace-building education provided by the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter School for Peace, the publication of a new book “Architects of Peace the Next Generation” with a touring exhibition, a global secure resource-directory, including a "What's Behind the Story" media content platform, and a one-week residency experience for 125 global youth peace leaders at Fort Worden in Washington State.
The Model:
Partner with the Carter School's award-winning curriculum (the #1 peace program globally)
Optimize through our CoNGO-backed and NYC-based Civil Society Media Desk
Enrich with the Carter School’s resource-analysis and civil society platform (water, energy, food and other material conditions for peace)
Cohort of select 125 young leaders annually for immersive training and placement
Why This, Why Now:
Traditional diplomacy fails where resource scarcity reigns. Our cohort graduates enter conflict zones equipped to address both the political and material roots of violence.
The Return:
Each cohort becomes a multiplier of trained peace-builders embedded in the institutions, regions, and networks where stability is most fragile. The Carter School trains the leaders; deploys them where they're needed most; and beta-tests the model to be subsequently expanded.
Funding enables:
Program launch, cohort recruitment, curriculum integration, data and media content development and residency infrastructure at Fort Worden.
