JACQUI THOMPSON  has spent more than a decade as an executive in the entertainment industry and producer.  She has partnered with major and independent labels, and has worked on projects involving Prince, Sheryl Crow, Chaka Khan, Sting, Lenny Kravitz, among others.

Jacqui managed Prince’s Paisley Park Enterprises and NPG records.  She has gone on to produce commercial spots for major labels, electronic press kits for such artists as Outkast, Prince, Chaka Khan and MTV’s DJ Funk Master Flex, and helped coordinate and produce several concerts including PPV performance of Prince’s Millennium Celebration Concert.

MICHAEL JENSEN founded Southern California-based Jensen Communications, Inc. (JCI) in 1982. A global public relations, media management and marketing company at home in the heart of the entertainment world, JCI is a strategy-intense, boutique firm powered by a long reach and decades of high level relationships. Its mission is the conception and execution of sophisticated, dynamic campaigns across multiple platforms for its select group of blue chip and emergent clients.

Prior to JCI, Jensen began his career as a reporter and syndicated columnist for Knight-Ridder Newspaper’s Star News in Pasadena, California. He served as National Director of Tours and Special Projects at CBS in Columbia Records for five years until he started his own company.

JCI has represented for many years some of the biggest names in music including Billy Joel, Carlos Santana, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Herb Alpert, and Jackson Browne among others.

JCI’s other clients and skill sets include television, new media/technology, sustainability, cause-related initiatives, corporate branding, fine arts, progressive politics, education, crisis management and major events (with clients including consumer electronics innovators SpectronIQ). This diversity offers synergy and fluency across broad ranges of influence to maximize the impact of every project.
